// Energy autonomous ocean-going catamaran with fuel cell
In an international project team for the development of a nearly energy-autonomous ocean-going yacht relying extensively on sustainable materials, ZSW supports the customer in the design and certification of the hydrogen-based energy system. This system consists of a PV plant, electrolyzer, hydrogen storage, fuel cell system and high-performance batteries and ensures the largely independent energy supply for life on board and the propulsion of the catamaran.
