ZSW can provide numerous references in the fields of system analysis and political consulting. On behalf of the State Government of Baden-Wuerttemberg and the German Federal Government, for instance, the scientists in Stuttgart are analysing the progress of the energy transition and developing concepts for future power and heat supply as well as sustainable mobility. On top of this, Baden-Wuerttemberg’s Climate Protection Act and Combined Heat and Power Concept were developed on the basis of ZSW’s reports, as was the tender model for ground-mounted photovoltaic systems at the national level. Feed-in forecasts based on machine learning methods are the subject of other projects.
